There are certain places in the world that hold a deep, meaningful connection for all of us. For the founders of ONEHOPE Wine, Maui is one of those places. Over the years, we’ve journeyed to this beautiful island with our families and have been met with the unmatched kindness and hospitality of the Maui community. The spirit of aloha has always been extended to us, and it’s a bond we cherish.
However, as many of you know, the recent fires in Maui have devastated the community we hold so dear. The heartache reminds us all too closely of the wildfires our own Napa Valley community has experienced. Our Founder & CEO, Jake Kloberdanz, personally witnessed the resilience of the Napa and Sonoma communities after wildfires, raising over $800,000 in support of wildfire relief efforts.
In that spirit, ONEHOPE Wine is taking action. To start, we are donating $5,000 to the Maui Food Bank. This donation will fund 20,000 meals, offering immediate relief to those most affected by these fires. We recognize that during times like these, the simple necessity of food can become a significant concern.
In addition, we believe in the collective power of giving. That’s why we will be matching all employee donations made towards Maui’s relief efforts. Every gesture, no matter how small, can have a profound impact.
