St Hallett Sacred Ground Shiraz 2021, Barossa, AUD $95
The wine has good colour for its three years, with a strong tint of purple and the bouquet shows char-oak and graphite/ironstone characters which are very Barossan. The wine is full-flavoured with a touch of elegance and at the medium end of full-bodied, the texture smooth and supple with plenty of easygoing tannins and good length. A typical premium Barossa shiraz that will reward some patient cellaring. (Screwcap)
