The 2022 Zenato Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio opens with pleasing aromas of melon, green apple, a little citrus and lime and a bit of a floral note.
The wine tastes similar to the nose but the fruit is a bit honeyed and more tart in the mouth. It also turns juicy on the mid-palate. Featuring a smooth and soft yet still lively mouthfeel and mouth-watering acidity, this is quite satisfying.
It ends dry, crisp and long with a lip-smacking finish of tangy fruit.
