Top Wineries of Australia 2024
Women have never been better represented among the ranks of winemakers than they are today, and we believe this is especially so among the best wineries. We are thrilled to see that 11 of our top 30 wineries (36.6%) have women in key winemaking roles, and 17 of the top 60 (28.3%).
The top 10 include Yarra Yering (#1, chief winemaker/manager Sarah Crowe), Henschke, (#2, senior winemaker Gwyn Olsen), Seppeltsfield (#6, chief winemaker Fiona Donald) and Cullen (#8, chief winemaker Vanya Cullen).

Indeed, we are heartened to discover that The Real Review has a particularly strong readership among women and younger people. In fact, 46% of our readership is female, and our largest category of readership is aged 35 years and younger.
