Fermented and matured for 8 ½ months in French oak barriques; 30% of blend went into new oak and the balance one year and older.
Pale straw yellow hue. Stone fruits and almond meal aromatics. Medium-weight palate with ripe nectarine fruit at its core. Hints of almond meal savoury tones ensure there’s some layers to the flow and with it a subtle acidity carries to the finish. A very approachable style of chardonnay. (Screwcap)
