Two Brothers Winery is located in Keller which is a short drive north of Fort Worth. The winery is family-owned and operated by two brothers, Brian and Eddie Kirkwood, and their spouses, Stephanie and Donna. The winery opened in 2019.
On a recent North Texas trip, I made a point to visit Two Brothers Winery during the week. The winery is open until late evening, but since I arrived in the afternoon, the regular wine crowd had not started to come yet. This made it convenient to enjoy a wine flight and learn about Two Brothers Winery.
I settled in at the tasting bar and perused the large two-sided tasting menu. Wines are on one side of the menu and the other side has mostly food items from which there is a large selection. Wine flights are four or five wines, or one can get a Chocolate Bliss flight that is four pre-selected wines paired with a chocolate treat. I opted for a four-wine flight so I could select my wines.
The four wines I selected were:
Tempranillo Syrah Malbec Reserve GSM (60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre). Bronze winner at the 2022-23 Texas International Wine Competition.
