Fervor Nonna Diana Fiano 2024, North West Victoria, AUD $27
The grapes were grown in the Chalmers vineyard, and the juice was fermented by veteran WA winemaker Mike Garland’s son Callum (a finalist in this year’s Young Gun of Wine) in seasoned oak barrels.
Spicy, lychee, tropical/passionfruit aromas, quite extraordinarily aromatic for a fiano, the palate delicate and fresh, crisp and dry, with very appealing flavour and a refreshing, clean dry finish. Impressive wine. (Screwcap)
