WineO Mark Review

The Hess Collection Allomi Chardonnay is a captivating expression from Napa Valley, seamlessly marrying the vivacity of ripe fruit with the elegance of oak aging.

On the nose, it promises notes of sun-kissed stone fruits, toasted oak, and a hint of vanilla bean.

Then when tasting, I was greeted with crisp pear, peach, and hints of citrus fruits, intertwined with subtle sweetness of honey, oak and a delicate creaminess. Then the finish is both long supported by a balanced acidity.

Overall this is a classic CA/Napa Valley Chardonnay with ripe fruits and oak, along with a subtle lingering background of acidity.

WineO Mark Rating The Hess Collection Allomi Chardonnay 2019 Highly Recommend for Chardonnay Wine Drinkers 89 Points
