Sanguine Estate Rosé 2023, Heathcote, AUD $28
This was blended from shiraz and merlot. Sanguine Estate is a Hunter family affair with 50 acres of vines at Heathcote. Most of their wines are red, which might be a clue to the name.
Medium salmon pink colour; quince-paste and savoury aromas, clean and fresh, with appealing flavour and balance. It has interest and is not simplistic, nor sweet. Very gulpable. (Screwcap)
