Elisa Christopher Wines is producing sparkling wine using the same method as Champagne which is the traditional method or méthode traditionelle. Heath Sparkling Wines has been producing sparkling wine for a few years in Fredericksburg.
Now in downtown Fredericksburg is the tasting room of Six Twists which offers a dedicated sparkling wine experience. They have obtained sparkling wines from around the world and offer tastings and glasses of bubbles. Why the name of Six Twists? Next time you twist off the wire cage of a bottle of sparkling wine, count the number of times you twist the wire – six!
