Chapel Hill is located in the Seaview locality. Chief winemaker/general manager Michael Fragos will celebrate 20 years at Chapel Hill next year.
The colour is deep dark; it’s a typical full bodied McLaren Vale shiraz, rich ripe and quite powerful on the nose with licorice, graphite and pepper-spice notes. It’s plummy in the mouth beneath an earthy/ironstone character that imparts a hint of bitterness on the aftertaste which is cleansing and adds a nice touch of firmness.
