Hoddles Creek Estate Pinot Noir 2023, Yarra Valley, AUD $26

Considering Hoddles Creek Estate has endured several years of very low yields, its wines must be considered even better value than usual.

Very bright young purple-red colour, the aromas pure-fruited, fresh and straightforward, with cherry and raspberry scents. A little plain at this stage of its extreme youth, it would appreciate a few months in a quiet place to build more complexity. Good potential. (Screwcap)
