The Blü Hen range is Jacob Stein’s new innovation, shining a different light on the family’s established vineyards.
Medium ruby with purple tinted rim. Mulberry, broken terracotta and wakame aromas. Soft and supple purple berry fruit on entry, with cola and saline mineral tones entwined across the palate. Tannins are ripe and fine but carry enough weight to drive length. As it lingers in the glass a deep ferrous minerality evolves. (Screwcap)
