Lowe Zinfandel Rosé 2023, Mudgee, AUD $50
Certified organic, this wine is made from a grape variety not often used for rosé, but it has found a good home in Lowe’s Mudgee vineyard.
Very pale, Provençal style salmon-to-coral pink, with an appealing fragrance of rose petal and lavender, with background red fruits – raspberry and cranberry. Soft but dry finish augmented by a little tannin grip, but no bitterness, the finish appetising, balanced and long. Excellent dry-style rosé. (Screwcap)
