(Mataro, tempranillo, montepulciano) An experimental wine made with interesting varieties for which Charlotte sees a great future in Langhorne Creek.
Deep salmon, more red than pink-salmon hue. A unique aromatic profile that says pepperoni pizza. Palate is dry and savoury with that same cured sausage, baked flatbread and dried herbal notes. There’s tannin along the edges that accentuates a drying crunch and offers length. Not your usual rosé and will be best suited to food. I’d suggest the pizza angle. (Screwcap)
