The winery behind the excellent MS Behave Malbec in our Perfect 10 box plus the best-selling Para Siempre is back with an another Perfect 10 Taste rating in this amazing estate grown Zinfandel from Paso Robles.
And what a Zin it is! Comprised of 76% Zinfandel, 15% Petite Sirah, 6% Syrah and 3% Grenache, this wine has virtually no residual sugar (0.3 g/L). Only 393 cases were produced and it received a 91-point score from Wine Enthusiast. While that’s a great score, we like it even more, giving it 94-points.
The wine was aged a total of about 18 months including 8 months in 40% new French and Hungarian oak puncheons plus French and American oak barrels after the final blend was assembled. Speaking of the blend we love the additions to the delicious Zinfandel here as they add all kinds of dimensions to this luscious wine. The grapes are all estate grown and come from the same vineyards as the MS Behave Malbec and the Para Siempre.
