It’s been too long since we offered a Brutocao (pronounced brew’ tuh coe) deal and we’ve heard your pleas. So today we are bringing back two of our favorite blends from the winery’s offerings of Italian varietals.

These are truly unique, very small production, estate bottled wines that won rave reviews from previous purchasers.

The first wine in today’s 4-pack is the 2017 Brutocao Uber Tuscan, a true to its name blend of 66% Sangiovese and 34% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very smooth and harmonious, it’s an absolute pleasure to drink. It was aged 18 months in barrel with 35% new oak. You will receive 2 bottles.

The second wine is the 2019 Brutocao Quadriga, a blend of 40% Primitivo, 25% Sangiovese, 24% Barbera, 8% Dolcetto and 3% Syrah. Rich, juicy and delicious, it spent 18 months in French oak, 30% of which was new. You will receive 2 bottles.

We rank both these wines at the high end of our 9 Taste Rating, so closer to 92-93 points. Wine Enthusiast also gave the 2020 Quadriga 92 points and an Editor’s Choice designation. Both are very small production – just 850 cases were produced of the Quadriga and only 300 of the Uber Tuscan.
