Have we got a gorgeous pair of wines today and an incredible discount to go with them!

First we’ve got the latest vintage of Wrath’s single vineyard, KW Ranch, Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir.

Equal parts clone 667 and Pommard 4 and aged 10 months in French oak (30% new), only 356 cases of this wine were made. We previously offered the 2018 vintage and it was very well received.

The 2019 we are offering today might be even better, with a 94 point score from Vinous, as well as from us.

The second half of today’s offer (you’ll receive two bottles of both wines) is a new Pinot Noir for Wrath from the Cortada Alta vineyard, which is the highest vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands.

Comprised of two Swiss clones, 20% of the grapes went through whole cluster fermentation and the wine was aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak. A mere 166 cases were produced.

With a big, almost meaty aroma, we loved this wine at least as much as the KW Ranch, scoring it at 94 points as well.

Both wines come from one of the true sweet spots for Pinot Noir, the Santa Lucia Highlands, and they carry the hefty price tag associated with such small production, single vineyard Pinot Noirs from this area
