Save 41% on two rarely available single vineyard Cahors Malbec from a superstar producer and a very unique vineyard! Don’t miss your chance to try the 2016 K-lys Malbec and the 2020 K-nom Malbec from Clos Troteligotte.
Malbec straight from the original source – Cahors, France! And this is the good stuff too. Deep, rich, flavorful, and dynamic, these wines are loaded with minerality thanks to the unique iron-rich vineyard from which they originate.
Let’s find out some more from the importer:
The ever-innovative Emmanuel Rybinski is without question Cahors’ hottest young star. Emmanuel’s ten acre estate sits atop an iron rich plateau on the Southern border of the appellation – the iron chunks scattered atop this vineyard are so pure you could sell them to a smelter.
The property is unusually high in elevation with allows Emmanuel to farm organically with ease (he is above the fog line and therefore has no issues with mildew). Rows are plowed by horse and spaced tightly. In 2005, the operation was classified under rational agriculture and in January 2014, Clos Troteligotte became certified organic.
We’re very excited to bring you today’s 4-pack deal which includes 2 bottles of two different, yet both delicious, expressions of Cahors Malbec.
The 2020 K-nom is the wine to drink now, a perfectly pleasurable, dynamic and juicy Malbec with 15% Merlot added in. It was aged 12 months in cement vats. It garnered a 92-point score from Wine & Spirits Magazine, which we agree with.
K-Lys,
