Lyme Bay Pinot Noir 2021, Essex, GBP £27

A relatively pale ruby in colour, this Crouch Valley pinot noir from the county of Essex is fresh and fragrantly raspberry-ish, oak spicy and peppery too. With ripe yet somehow delicate red berry fruit, it boasts juicy acidity offset by a gentle grip of tannin, making it very much an elegant food wine. (Screwcap)
