, Fleshy and generous

Langmeil Valley Floor Shiraz 2021, Barossa Valley, AUD $35

The Lindner brothers Paul and James at Langmeil produce an astounding range of shirazes, this one being the best buy in their lower price range.

Deep dark red with a tinge of purple and aromas of black olive, ironstone/graphite, char oak and machine oil. The wine is full bodied and rich, dense and fleshy, with mouth-coating powdery tannins and the generosity of flavour and softness is almost decadent. (Screwcap)
