Atlas Bar
I couldn’t start this list without mentioning the iconic Art Deco splendour of Atlas Bar: Despite its breathtaking design, this venue is surprisingly young, having been built in 2002 by the Hwang family, developers of Parkview Square. Their goal was to create an inviting space that exudes elegance and sophistication, and they have certainly achieved this with ATLAS. The establishment boasts an impressive selection of wines and spirits that can elevate any occasion, with a collection of 50,000 bottles of fine wine, including one of Asia’s largest champagne collections. They have close to 300 champagnes available by the bottle at any one time, including many exclusive disgorgements and cuvees, one of which is the Heidsieck & Co Monopole Gout Americain, which was crafted with an Extra Dry dosage as an hommage to the sweeter wines of the 20th century.
