Seppeltsfield 21 Years Para Tawny 2003, South Australia, AUD $105

With the mercury dropping, this classic Australian tawny is the perfect antidote to ward off the winter chills.

Lovely colour, amber with some khaki hints in the rim. Heady aromas of rancio, nuts, prune, panforte, polished leather, raisins and sweet pudding spice. Complex, mouth-filling and delicious. Dried fruit, cooked citrus and sweet spice flavours are at the fore. There’s also a lovely nutty/rancio character that permeates the wine. Really impressive length —an outstanding Aussie tawny.
