Malbec originated in France, the main red grape of Cahors and a minor blending component in Bordeaux.
Dense and inky purple colour. Richly aromatic with blueberry compote, vanilla, and wood shaving notes. Palate carries the same generosity and weight that the nose suggested. A dark morcilla note adds further to its character whilst the broad tannins focus the drive to a long, slightly saline finish. (Screwcap)
