The grenache cuddle is real and very fitting for the depths of winter. When it’s well-made it glides across the palate and finishes with ‘pep’ (as opposed to weighing too heavy). This is well worth the money.
Notes of raspberry, licorice and smoked meats on the nose lead into an airy core of red fruits. A line of acidity adds freshness. It offers a tasty array of flavours while the tannins aren’t too forthright, making it an appealing wine to drink young. (Screwcap)
