Born in a cool, wet season with a very late harvest, this is the first semillon released from this Lovedale subregion vineyard since the 2013.
Very light straw colour and an intense straw-like, almost resiny aroma, the palate refined, intense and direct, dry and crisply lemony, very refreshing at the finish. A delicate, low-alcohol semillon that has remarkable length. It’s drinking well now and has years ahead of it. (Screwcap)
