Coordinates Vineyards – Hye. The Tannat vineyard and Austin Kerr.
You are probably aware of Coordinates Vineyards located on Main Street in Fredericksburg. The tasting room owned by brothers Austin and Mahlon Kerr opened in 2021. Now there is a second location in Hye.
I visited the new location in Hye recently. If you have driven down US 290 in Hye, no doubt you have recognized the beautiful farmhouse with a vineyard in front. It had been used for different things over the years but now it is the home to Coordinates Vineyards – Hye.
We wrote about the first location of Coordinates Vineyards before, and you may have seen the sign in front with the GPS coordinates 30°27’05″N 98°86’62″W. Those are the GPS coordinates for the tasting room in Fredericksburg. Inside the Hye location in the tasting room is a sign with the GPS coordinates of 30°14’36″N 98°34’05″W. Those are the coordinates of the second location and specifically in the front vineyard.
