, Chardonnay with power

Greystone Erin’s Reserve Chardonnay 2021, North Canterbury, NZD $135

Intense and quite complex chardonnay with power to spare. The more obvious flavours include grapefruit, ginger, toasted nut, bran biscuit and oyster shell. Although it can be appreciated now the wine shows obvious cellaring potential. Very serious chardonnay. (Screwcap)
