Bingham Family Vineyards has partnered with the Texas Hill Country Wineries association to provide financial support to students studying viticulture and enology in the state of Texas. Blake Eddie Bingham was the fifth child of Cliff and Betty Bingham, owners and founders of Bingham Family Vineyards. Growing up surrounded by his family’s vineyards, he gained a curiosity for the world and an innate kindness. A portion of the proceeds of this project go directly towards improving the Texas wine industry through educational access and support.
The Blake Bingham Memorial Scholarship was established in 2021 in partnership with the Texas Hill Country Wineries association. The wine will be a bit different each year. The wine is a dry red with notes of sour cherry, dried fig, and baking spices. Pair with carne asada tacos or a meaty pasta dish.
