C.W. Wines recently revived the Stonehaven label after purchasing the winery and brand in 2021.
Inky black core, just fading slightly to deep purple at the rim. Blackberry, drying beef and mint leaf aromas. Big and intense on entry with black fruits, bitumen, anise and mint all exploding across the palate. That exuberance and intensity is well matched to prodigious tannins that work hard to taper and drive the flow long and dry the finish. Loads of wine here at a great price.
