A few years ago, it was hard to drive down Main Street in Fredericksburg without seeing the larger-than-life half-face of Flavio Andreucci staring back at you from the southeast corner of Washington and Main Streets. The Italian winemaker had his eye on the Texas Hill Country and made the move into the corner tasting room in January 2019. When that happened, they brought with them a rich history of seven generations of winemaking. Flavio, his wife Lara, their son, and various other family members make sure a bit of Italian magic happens in Fredericksburg when you walk through their door, from the true Italian accent to family recipes that pair naturally with their imported Italian wines.

Over the past five years at the downtown location, thousands of people have been transported to Tuscany, even if it is briefly over a tasting of their amazing wines. Another trip to Italy happens when the tables are set down in the middle of the tasting room and people come together to enjoy a seven-course dinner paired precisely with a range of wines from their Prosecco to their premium Vigna 1810. Each wine is presented in its own special glass that is left on the table until the end of the night. These dinners are similar to those of their Italian Culture in that dinners start late, and the table is yours for the evening.
