An Alsace-inspired blend of pinot gris, riesling and gewürztraminer, grown on Bill Shrapnel’s Colmar Estate vineyard and vinified by Will Rikard-Bell.
A very appealing fragrance—floral, spice and pastry yeasty nuances—the palate pleasantly dry and crisp. There is a subtle nutty note which might suggest some barrel involvement. Clean, dry and firm to finish. Lovely balance and mouth-feel. A classy Alsace-style blend. (Screwcap)
