, A Port Wine for Any Palate in Biscayne Times

I do feel like one of the lucky ones to be able to say I have spent time in the Douro Valley in Portugal. Anyone who has been there surely knows how just spectacular it is.

Even if you aren’t a Port wine drinker, you can appreciate just the absolute beauty of the rows of vines winding up the steep banks of the Douro River, and what a feat of humankind it is to build these vineyards.

If you haven’t been there, you really should consider a trip.

Beauty of the Douro Valley

After visiting the region in September, I was happy to write a little article about how folks can get excited about drinking Port this holiday season for Miami’s Biscayne Times newspaper. Drive into these special fortified wines in my November Vino column for Biscayne Times.

Happy Port Wine Drinking!
