This is a radical new style of shiraz from this established Margaret River winery, and very à la mode.
Light red colour with purple rim—the depth of colour of a heartier rosé. Very attractive pepper/spice and meaty carbonic macerated nose, like a fresh young Beaujolais. A very light-bodied, low-tannin red, quite delicious as a current drinker that could be served with a chill. The finish is refreshing and dry, with enough tannin to give a clean, savoury aftertaste.
