A former chartered surveyor and owner—with his brother and sister—of Langham Wine Estate, Justin Langham’s long-held interest in vineyards turned to enthusiasm as he made a point of visiting wine producers on his travels. After attending Plumpton College, he decided in 2009 to plant the champagne varieties chardonnay, pinot noir and meunier in a 10ha plot of land on one of the family’s six farms that had been bought in 2004.
