The cool-climate wine region Friuli is bordered by the Alps in Northeast Italy. Kirkland Signature 2023 Pinot Grigio displays a fragrant bouquet of crisp apple with a hint of white flowers. Bright acidity is followed by a clean, refreshing finish.

While Pinot Grigio seems like it is a dime a dozen these days, good, flavorful Pinot Grigio is a whole ‘nother story, especially when you’re looking at a $5-$6 price point. Thankfully, Costco nails this year after year and this vintage is no different.

The 2023 Kirkland Signature Pinot Grigio begins very similarly to the previous vintage with a pleasant aroma of honeydew melon, green apple, pear, lemon and a touch of a floral note.

Tasting the wine shows lots of rich, vibrant fruit like lemon, green apple and pear along with a smooth and supple mouthfeel. Some tropical fruit notes also come out on the mid-palate and lead into the tart, crisp and refreshing finish that leaves some lightly sweet fruit notes lingering on the
