Charles Heidsieck NV Reserve – This a Reservé Brut as there is a high proportion of reserve wines used in the NV. The reservé wines add complexity to the bottle and this champagne is a great value for what you are paying for. The reserves are between 5 and 20 years old – some of the oldest reserves used for a NV brut. This is going to add structure and body to the mouthfeel. There is more substance to this champagne and has a strong character. This champagne takes its time in the cellars which includes the chalk caves from the Roman period.
