The 32nd Annual Gulf Coast Winegrowers Watson Field Day presented by Capital Farm Credit is just around the corner on February 2nd from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cat Spring Agriculture Society Hall located at 13035 Hall Rd, Cat Spring, Texas.
The Gulf Coast Winegrowers Assn. (GCWA) in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife (TAMU) Extension and presented by Capital Farm Credit host this full day of viticulture and winemaking presentations, research related wine tastings, commercial exhibits, and networking for both experienced and prospective grape growers and winemakers.
Weather and other adverse conditions along the Gulf Coast present unique challenges for grape growers and winemakers. Scheduled presentations reflect the cooperation between the GCWA and TAMU Extension in addressing many of those issues. Activities and presentations range from the basics to advanced and include the following:
Registration at the door opens at 7:30 a.m. and is $50 for GCWA members, and $60 for non-members. Lunch Sponsored by WCTractor) and the Networking Social are included. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
